Colour the Balls..

Things needed:

White sheet
Sketchpens

Method:

Draw many balls with vertical divisions..

Also mention the colour sequence above...

Fill the first part of the ball with one colour. Ask your kid to fill the next two vertical spaces according to the next colour that comes in the colour sequence.

Learning three letter Animals and Birds

Method:

Draw three letter animals and birds pictures...

Ask your kid to check the image and write the name of the animal or bird.




Words Detective

  We did a fun activity today... pretending to be a detective and finding out words....

Things needed:

White sheet
Pen
Magnifying glass

Method:

Write the words very small on a sheet of paper...

List the same words in regular size at the bottom...

Ask your kid to use the magnifying glass and read the words and find the same words in the bottom and circle them...

This activity increases their vocabulary... Same Activity can be done with 3 to 4 year olds with only alphabets...

Potato Tulips

Things needed:

One small potato
White sheet
Paint
Sketchpens

Method:

Cut the potato lengthwise. Mark the tulip shape on the potato and cut it accordingly.

Now dip the potato in the paint and imprint it.

Later draw the stem and leaves with the sketchpens.

Tada.. beautiful art is ready...

Learning Shapes with a Kitchen Roll

Things needed:

Kitchen roll cardboard
White sheet
Turmeric
Water

Method:

Cut the cardboard roll into small pieces. Press them and make them into different shapes as shown in the video.

Now mix water in turmeric and make a liquidy paste. You can also use paints

Dip the shapes in the turmeric and press them on the paper.

You can make different shape mould using just one roll.

Enjoy learning the shapes. Kids will love to imprint the shapes on paper...
