Arrange in Order

Things needed:

White sheet
Sketchpens

Method:

Write different things like capital and small alphabets, numbers, days of the week, months of the year and other things in random order.

Ask your kid to arrange them in order.

I have included  Kannada alphabets too. My daughter doesn't know to write it yet but she can identify them. So asked her to guess the correct order and I filled the last line.

For older kids you can include Hindi too.

Learning Gender Words

It is always difficult to teach gender words (masculine and feminine) to kids. They forget it easily. So why not start it at an early age in a fun way with few basic words. You can use the same method to teach more difficult ones for elder kids.

Things needed:

White sheet - 2
Paper cup
Scissor
Glue
Sketch pens
Bowl

Method:

Draw a girl and a boy picture on a paper. Cut the paper cup into half and stick it below them as shown in the picture.

In another paper write all the gender words and cut them into small strips. Put all of them in a bowl.

Ask your kid to pick one word and sort them according to their gender. Help them to read it they find the word difficult.

In this was they will also learn to read few words.

Add as many gender words as you wish.

Ask your kid to colour the larger circle with colour on y-axis and smaller circle with colour on x-axis.
