DIY Dumbells

Make a pair of dumbells using some cardboard for your kids. They are ultra light weight😂 and the kids enjoys working out with it. You don't have to worry about them lifting the actual ones and getting hurt.
Note: this is not activity for the kids but for parents.. but enjoy making them with ur children.

Things needed:

Kitchen tissue roll
Cardboard sheet
Glue
Scissors
Masking tape
Duct tape
Brush
Water

Method:

Take the centre cardboard roll from two kitchen tissue roll.

Cut small semicircles from the cardboard. 24 pieces are needed, 6 on each side of the dumbell.

Stick them as shown in the picture.

Once they dry, take masking tape and cover the entire cardboard.

Now cut small pieces of tissue. Make a mix of glue and water. Stick the tissue pieces on the dumbells by dipping a brush in the glue mix and applying.. continue this paper mache technique till the entire dumbell is covered.
Allow it to dry for 24 hours.

Now use a duct tape and stick it on the dumbells covering it properly... Duct tape makes it waterproof..

Now the dumbells are ready for the kids to workout. They will enjoy exercising with it and act as if they are lifting heavy...
